ZAMBIA - Elephant Orphanage Project, Lilayi Lodge, about 45 minutes south of Lusaka, on the highway going to Livingstone and Victoria Falls. There are five baby elephants being cared for here. The youngest, Zambezi, is nine months old. These baby elephants no longer have parents. As soon as they are old enough, they will be released back to the wild.
